MICROBE-LIFT/PL Beneficial Bacteria What problem does this solve? Microbe-Lift PBL is a liquid containing photosynthetic and heterotrophic bacteria which helps clarify water by promoting flocculation and settling of organic and inorganic particles.  PPL reduces ammonia and seeds and maintains biological filters.  Helps digest sludge, beak down dead algae and reduces unpleasant odors.   PL Improves dissolve oxygen levels and generally helps create a healthy lake environment.  When you open the bottle expect the small of rotten eggs.  This is caused by the sulfate reducing bacteria that forms part of this product's composition.

Is it safe for fish, people, pets and plants? Yes, as a completely natural product it is safe for all pond life, fish, pets and people.  You cannot overdose.

How does it work? PL has a variety of bacteria which address all the common problems encountered in lake maintenance including high ammonia and nitrate, sludge build up and cloudy water.  It is the equivalent of an “ecosystem in a bottle”. As an all-natural product please do not expect instant results but over a period 4-6 weeks conditions should significantly improve.
