New ponds and lakes or ones that have been cleaned out in the last 3-6 months probably lack friendly bacteria and are likely to develop algae especially in warm weather.  To add friendly bacteria and to help prevent algae blooms we offer this combination of two bestselling Microbe-Lift products PL friendly bacteria and Barley Straw Extract Liquid. Botley straw in the form of straw has long been used to inhibit algae attacks naturally.  However it is very messy to use as the straw needs to break down in the water to release the natural agents that help control algae attacks.  The Microbe-Lift product contains a patented formula that extracts these natural agents and puts them in a clear liquid so the treatment goes to work much faster than the straw with no mess.  As both products are natural and safe for pond life please do not expect fast results as it can take down to create the positive conditions both these products promote that help avoid algae attacks.
